L.A. Material is seeking an expert, organized and versatile editor to help us build L.A. Material and expand our editorial offerings. Your responsibilities will include editing our daily newsletter, as well as some featurettes (short interviews, humor and culture pieces) and longer features and investigations. You'll also help generate story ideas, and work with editorial leadership to develop editorial strategy and voice. We're looking for someone who ideally has experience with local news. This is a part-time, freelance role with the potential to grow.
