“JUST VOTE!” civically minded folks like to say, as though being an informed citizen does not require the time-consuming homework of sifting through news articles, watching debates and forming opinions you may have to defend after election results come in.
To help with the legwork, L.A. Material has put together a roundup of L.A. area and statewide guides to the November 3 general election. Below, we’ve collected nonpartisan voter guides as well as endorsements from newsrooms (in the rare cases where editorial boards still offer them) and various special interest groups.
Our approach here is inclusive: We’re presenting what’s out there and offering context on the groups behind each list. We’ll update and add to this rundown as more voter guides and endorsements come online.
