Caruso tips his hand — sort of.
If you were conscious during the 2022 mayoral election in Los Angeles or the aftermath of the Palisades fire in early 2025, you knew one thing: Rick Caruso did not like Karen Bass.
During the 2022 race, Caruso branded Bass as corrupt and lacking in management skills. Bass accused Caruso of covering up sexual abuse at USC, telling the press, "He needs to come clean."
